DESCRIPTION:After shutting down the port for a period on August 19, a self organized 
 group of hundreds of port truckers have been negotiating with the city in 
 an attempt to put an end to inhumane working conditions and wage theft. 
 After the city rejected all of their demands, the truckers voted 
 unanimously to protest, picket and shut down the Port of Oakland on Monday, 
 October 21. \n\nThey are requesting solidarity from all who are able and
