 strategies and needs of the resistance movement.  This event is sponsored

 Rivera is a 25 year old \nresistance leader from the organization Los 
 \nNecios based in Honduras’ capital, \nTegucigalpa. Ana was enrolled at 
 the \nCatholic University of Honduras, studying \nfor an Environmental 
 Engineering degree \nwhen the coup against President Jose \nManuel Zelaya 
 occurred in 2009. At that \nmoment Ana joined the political resistance 
 \nmovement. Within the Los Necios \nOrganization Ana was chosen to 
 coordinate \nthe creation of the Feminist Marxist \nCollective called Las 
 Necias, at the same \ntime maintaining the environmental \nagenda, writing 
 articles for the newspaper \nLos Necios and social networks. Fighting in 
 \nthe streets, raising the flags of sexual \ndiversity, participation of 
 women, rights for \nfreedom and also growing professionally \nand 
 ideologically in the training school of \nLos Necios, Ana has become a 
 youth leader. \nCurrently she is Secretary of International \nAffairs for 
 Los Necios and sub coordinator \nof the Feminist Collective Las Necias\n
