DESCRIPTION:This BFUU Sunday Service will feature Ziad Abbas, who will discuss the Maia 
 Project, one of many programs conducted by MECA, the Middle East 
 Children’s Alliance. Ziad Abbas, program manager for cross-cultural 
 programs at MECA, is a Palestinian refugee from Dheisheh Refugee Camp in 
 the West Bank. He is the cofounder of the Ibdaa Cultural Center in 
 Dheisheh. Ziad is also a filmmaker, journalist, and educator who has worked 
 with Palestinian and international media and helped create several 
 documentary films. The donation plate will be earmarked specifically for 
 MECA's Maia Project. Bring some clean water to share with any children 
 present at the service. Dirty water will be available to view, but not
