DESCRIPTION:Join ECOSF for a Summer Ecology Walk through the second largest natural
area in San Francisco – McLaren Park. We’ll stop by Gray Fox creek, one
of the few natural "springs" still flowing in SF as well as check out some
native grassland that support dozens of spring wildflowers (we might still
be able to spot a few), check out the area around McNab Lake, before
reaching a nice blackberry briar – SF’s finest summer forage. As
always, we’ll discuss some historical context of McLaren Park and its use
and impact by humans and other animals past and present. We’ll also talk
about how to make a “natural” first aid kit for common ailments and
trail remedies. Space is limited so please RSVP by emailing us at
info@eco-sf.org. Hope to see you there!\n\nCOST = $25+$5 for "wild" food
 lunch\n https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2013/07/08/18739505.php
