DESCRIPTION:School is out but the School Farm is in full effect! The rows are busting
out with cabbage, kale, chard, lettuce, tomatoes, squash, corn, quinoa, and
more. As always crops need tending, seeds need starting, weeds need
pulling, and we also have lots of big clean ups going on to tidy up the
space and properly store farm equipment. We may even be doing some light
construction of shelving, a place for everything and everything in it's
place. Other activities might include clearing more cotoneaster along the
fence to plant fruit trees and add soil, planting and mounding up soil in
the native border, and mulching pathways with wood chips.\n
\nArizmendi pastries and tea will be provided, and feel free to
bring a snack, water, and anything else you need to get down and dirty
(even a favorite old cassette for the solar power tape player). It's a
great chance to come visit and help out or just hang on the farm and soak
 up the summer rays.\n
