DESCRIPTION:The Commons SF offers a paid workshop on making sense of housing issues in
San Francisco and America as part of its five part Geography and Social
Justice series of workshops.\n\nStarting from the perspective that all
people have an equal right to occupy nature, and that nature has an
economic value arising out of the growth of community, and that nigh on all
social questions begin with consideration of, "Upon what terms will
individuals have access to nature (location, location, location)?" The
Commons SF develops a wholistic social philosophy that offers specific
counsel on a wide range of concerns.\n\nThis Thursday the concern is
housing. What public policy will liberate private investment in housing,
but remove the rent gouging opportunities in real estate? What public
policy will not just ameliorate, but heal the mortgage foreclosure debacle?
What public policy will put OCCUPY back into Occupy Wall Street?\n\nWe pay
$10 to the first 5 people to attend (we advise pre-enrollment for the
stipend), with a practical limit of 12 attendees.\n\nFor more information
visit http://www.TheCommonsSF.org\n\nBe on time, and we end
 punctually.\n\n\nhttp://www.TheCommonsSF.org\n\n
