DESCRIPTION:Join us for the world’s largest bicycle music festival in Golden Gate
Park and in the Mission District, as well as live on bicycles en route
between the two destinations.  The lineup features Grammy-winning
bluegrass artists, Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands; Jason Brock of The
X-Factor; Quinn DeVeaux & the Blue Beat Review; and Bill McKibben of
350.org.\n\nThe SF Bicycle Music Festival is a free, non-profit, all-day,
all-ages, outdoor concert featuring musical acts from around the Bay Area.
The Festival champions bicycle mobility, full audience participation, and
zero use of fossil fuels. Twenty-thousand watt sound systems are powered
entirely by volunteer pedalers on stationary bikes, and all participants
ride together in a bike parade between the two locations.  En route,
participants enjoy live performances from a bike-pulled mobile stage,
amplified by full-sized concert speakers strapped to multiple bikes
throughout the crowd and connected wirelessly.\n\nThe Festival begins 12
noon to 5pm at Pioneer East Meadow in Golden Gate Park. The LiveOnBike
music bike parade rolls out from the park at 5pm and travels to 22nd and
Bartlett Streets in the Mission District where performances continue until
9pm. Bike-blended smoothies and pedal-churned ice cream will be served in
the park and the Mission Community Market will serve fresh local fare for
the Bartlett Street stage.\n\nFull lineup and more info
