 services and public education are under assault from the Oakland Schools to 
  Oakland city services and water in Richmond.\nThis forum will discuss who 
 is doing the privatization and outsourcing and what labor and working 
 people should do about it.\nIn the Oakland schools, rampant corruption is 
 now combined with the elimination of public schools which began under 
 former Mayor Jerry Brown.\nThese privatizers are embedded in the government 
 and making money off the destruction\nfo public schools. The City of 
 Oakland is outsourcing public jobs and turning them over to contractors who 
 have financial connections to the city.\nThese privatizers are being helped 
 by government officials who themselves have financial interests in 
 outsourcing and profiting from privatization.\nThe future of public 
 education and all public services is at stake and labor needs a united 
 campaign of education and action to stop this privatization and union
