 invite you to join us for a “Hands Off Assata” Speak Out and “Welcome 
 Home GP” BBQ. ~\n\n\n\nThe placing of Mama Assata Shakur on a terrorist 
 list is the United States latest and most egregious attack on the freedom 
 fighter who has inspired so many of us to do the work we 
 do.\n\nAdditionally, it is an attack on all of us that have committed our 
 lives to fighting repression and home-based terrorism that takes the form 
 of police terror, the miseducation of our young people, under-resourced 
 neighborhoods and an overflowing prison system.\nWe see the attacks on 
 activists at the local level too with the harassment, intimidation and even 
 incarceration of our comrades. As a most recent example, Comrade GP Walker, 
 co-chair of the ONYX Organizing Committee was arrested and imprisoned for 
 almost two months on bogus charges of parole violation. Brother GP was 
 subsequently released with all charges dismissed.\n\nThese new and 
 dangerous attacks require an unprecedented demonstration of unity among all 
 of the different groups working for justice in the Bay Area. The ONYX 
 Organizing Committee & Anarchists of Color invite you to join us for a 
 “Hands Off Assata” Speak Out and “Welcome Home GP” BBQ.\n\nThis 
 POTLUCK BBQ will offer us a chance to speak out against State Terrorism, 
 network with other like-minded people doing the work and bring attention to 
 the need for unity in our struggles.\n\nThis event is immediately following 
 the ONYX Organizing Committee’s Door knocking campaign at the Hold Out 
 from 2-4\n\nJoin us for food, music, camaraderie and resistance!\n\n*Please
