 policing in Santa Cruz and develop grassroots community power. The meeting 
 is a follow-up to the April 25th event, but attendance to the first half is 
 not required. All are welcome!\n\nWe invite everyone who has a story to 
 share or wants to learn more about the prison system and how to build a 
 movement against it.\n\n\nLet's get organized! \n\n\n\n*On April 6th, Sin 
 Barras and allies held a march and speakout to demand an end to inhumane 
 conditions inside the Santa Cruz county jail, where at least four inmates 
 have died since August 2012. Outside of the jail, many more have died due 
 to lack of homeless services and drug treatment programs. \n
