 globe, people are polluting, diverting, pumping, and wasting limited 
 supplies of fresh water as population and technology grows. Rampant 
 over-development of agriculture, housing, and industry increases the 
 demands for fresh water, often well beyond the finite local supplies, 
 ultimately resulting in desertification.  The documentary, “Blue Gold: 
 World Water Wars,” explores the causes, crisis, and solution.  It will be 
 shown free of charge on Saturday, May 11, at 1:30 p.m., at the future home 
 of Niles Discovery Church, 36600 Niles Blvd., Fremont. The screening will 
 be followed with a discussion.\n
