 honor of the Middle East Children's Alliance 25th Anniversary. She is also 
 releasing her new book, The Meaning of Freedom and Other Difficult 
 Dialogues.\n\nDavis is a long-time advocate for racial justice and 
 prisoner's rights. She also taught the History of Consciousness, directed 
 Feminist Studies, twice ran for U.S. Vice President, and is revered 
 worldwide for her classic book "Women, Race and Class." She notes, "Herbert 
 Marcuse taught me that it was possible to be an academic, an activist, a 
 scholar,and a revolutionary."\n\nDavis will be introduced by Palestinian 
 journalist from Deheishe Refugee Camp, Ziad Abbas.\n\nTicket are available
