 Planet Drum Foundation (PD) staff, friends, and family for March's 
 Workshop-Workday at Heron's Head Park. Experience the rebounding natural 
 areas of San Francisco's Southern Shoreline, in the  Bayview Hunter's Point 
 District, PD's monthly Workshop-Workdays engage volunteers in the 
 bioregional perspective of education & action at numerous local place-based 
 community projects.\n \nWe will be joined by members of SF Park & Rec's 
 Youth Stewardship Program, and get our minds clear with comprehending the 
 EJ issues of the surrounding area, and our hands dirty by engaging in 
 hands-on wetland restoration & habitat construction.\n \nHeron's Head Park 
 is a 24 acre park located in the Southern Waterfront of San Francisco. This 
 peninsular park is home to Salt Marsh and Upland restoration activities, 
 walking paths, bird-watching, environmental education activities, and the 
 EcoCenter.\n \nPlease dress for varied weather (in layers), bring hats, 
 sunglasses, and sun-block, binoculars for bird-watching, water and a snack 
 (optional, but recommended).\n\nRainbow Grocery Cooperative will be 
 providing snacks & refreshments for community volunteers..\n
