DESCRIPTION:\nThe News is the new place to see fresh, queer performance by Bay Area 
 artists. On the first Tuesday of each month The Newswill spotlight 
 performance pieces, experiments, and works in progress by pre-selected solo 
 artists, groups, or troupes. An informal session for artist-led critical 
 feedback follows the performances.\n\nThe March edition of The News 
 features Meliza Bañales, Lynnee Breedlove, Annie Danger, Bill Hsu, 
 LOVEWARZ! and Margaret Tedesco, as well as hosting guest curators Gary 
 Fembot and Malcolm Hamilton. Fembot and Hamilton, who formerly produced and 
 co-hosted the radio show “Fembot & Friends” on KUSF in Exile, bring an 
 evening of performance, spoken word, film and music inspired by the spirit
