DESCRIPTION:Please join Planet Drum Foundation staff, friends, and family for the start 
 of our monthly 2013 Workshop-Workday events.\n\nThis month, we will be at 
 the Candlestick State Recreation Area Native Plant Nursery & Community 
 Gardens, and the Yosemite Slough in San Francisco's Bayview Hunter's Point 
 Area. We will engage in the bioregional aspect of education & 
 engagement.\n\nWe will be working along side of youth from Literacy for 
 Environmental Justice & experts from the Golden Gate Audubon Society to 
 accomplish migratory bird surveying & native plant restoration at the 
 Yosemite Slough.\n\n930-10 Meet at the Candlestick State Recreation Area 
 Nursery, Introduction & workshop-workday logistics\n\n10-12 Travel 
 (Caravan) to Yosemite Slough/Habitat Restoration/Avian surveying site (3 
 min away from nursery)\n\nBird Census & Restoration\n\n12-1230 Pack up, 
 Travel back to Nursery\n\n1230-2 or so...... BBQ and celebrate!\n\nPlease 
 dress for varied weather (in layers), bring hats, sunglasses, and sunblock, 
 as well as water and a snack, and maybe some food to share for community 
 BBQ (optional, but recommended),\n\nAlso, please RSVP to Ben at Planet Drum 
 Foundation so that we can organize the necessary resources for the
