 Staff\nSpeak-out at SF School Board Meeting 12/11/2012\n\nThe San Francisco 
 Unified School District bosses and managers have been waging a war of 
 intimidation and bullying against the students, teachers and staff at the 
 Martin Luther King Middle School which mostly serves students from Hunters 
 Point and Bay View in San Francisco.\nThe principal Natalie Everhard sat on 
 a female student and injured a UESF security staff member. Here along with 
 the Vice Principal Anthony Braxton have retaliated, transferred UESF and 
 SEIU 1021 workers and are seeking to fire the staff who have spoken out. 
 These staff have a long history of bulling and harassment of staff and

 Superintendent Jeannie Pon who is in charge of the SF Middle Schools has 
 covered up this criminal activity and has even sent letters to the parents 
 that all is well at the school. Physical abuse of students is a criminal 
 offense and those who cover it up are guilty of felonies.\nThere is also no 
 security in the school despite the administration’s action to bring NAACP 
 director Amos Brown into the school to supposedly calm the 
 school.\nPrincipal Everhard eliminated the counselors at the school and she 
 previously gave away the band equipment and closed the music and art 
 program. This at a school named for Dr. Martin Luther King!\nThe 
 pro-privatization SF SFUSD superintendent Richard Carranza also has stated 
 that a full investigation has been made of these incidents and that the 
 charges against Everhard are “slander”.

 despite the fact that the district has not interviewed the very staff who 
 were witness to the incidents.\nPon, Everhard and Superintendent Richard 
 Carranza are all supporters of the pro-privatization Bechtel funded SERP 
 and STEM program which pushes testing and the core standards which exclude 
 music and the arts. Pon is even on the San Francisco “Core Members 
 Group” which pushes this agenda.
