DESCRIPTION:You may have heard the story from Tuesday, September 18: Oakland City 
 Council breaks yet another promise to help the grieving family of teenager 
 Alan Blueford slain by Oakland police. After the community refused to let 
 the council brush the family off, Larry Reid angrily canceled the whole 
 city council meeting, and then, the next day, vowed that the council would 
 never again allow public sentiment to derail business as usual.\n\nWell, 
 the Blueford family is going back to city council on October 2, and they 
 would like to take several hundred of their friends with them.\n\nCome 
 march with the interfaith community, the family, and the rest of the 
 community. \n\nWe will rally at the DA's office, 1225 Fallon Street, and 
 march to city hall in time for the meeting.\n
