 and lead organizer of CNUC, \nLuz has worked tirelessly over 20 years to 
 \nprotect peasantsʼ rights and build inspiring, \ncommunity-based 
 autonomous projects. \nLuz and CNUC also accompany the Apizaco 
 \nmerchantʼs union, a bus-drivers' cooperative, \nand the National 
 Assembly of Braceros in their \nstruggles against corrupt governance, 
 police \nrepression, and neoliberalism. \nHer talk will have important 
 lessons for \nanyone interested in womenʼs, peasant, and labor movements.
