DESCRIPTION:	In the wake of a year of explosive struggle on the west coast, anarchists
and other rebels are beginning to feel the State's wrath in response. This
strategy of repression has taken the form of countless arrests,
overwhelming charges, raids, lengthy jail sentences, and even a federal
grand jury.\n\nPrison functions to repress those who choose to actively
revolt against the State. Its walls, fences, disciplinary measures,
surveillance system and guards exist to separate the incarcerated from
their comrades and loved ones. Others, who defiantly chose to evade their
would-be captors, face a different variety of alienation. Any effort at
anti-repression in\nthe face of lengthy prison terms must be aimed at
bringing down separation at all costs.\n\nJoin us at Station 40 as we
celebrate the actions of currently imprisoned comrades, raise money in
solidarity and hear from them in their own words.\n\nWe will read an
exclusive statement from Jesse 'Brick' Nesbitt, in jail awaiting trial for
his bold actions in defense of the SF Commune. We will hear a poems and
words from Kali and Truth, already serving time for their participation in
Occupy Oakland. We will also hear the statements from an anonymous
anarchist resisting the anti-anarchist witch hunt in the Pacific
Northwest.\n\nFollowing these statements, we will facilitate a discussion
about what it means to support the prisoners of uprisings against society,
as well as how we can reconceptualize anti-repression activity to avoid the
specialization and burn-out that traditionally follow from it.\n\nEphemera
will be sold as a fundraiser. Donations are highly encouraged. All
donations and funds raised will be donated to the legal funds and
commissaries of Brick, Truth and Kali.\n
