DESCRIPTION:This is an ongoing outreach activity organized back in November at the 
 Occupy Berkeley camp and continuing in the months since the camp was 
 dismantled. We meet to occupy public space, discuss political issues, and 
 knit/crochet useful items like hats and scarves that we then send in 
 solidarity to activists in the U.S. and worldwide. \n\nCurrently we're 
 knitting for the Midwife Education Project in Nicaragua. Previous packages 
 of knitted things have gone to Bradley Manning supporters in the UK, to 
 Tahrir Square, to anti-nuclear protesters in Fukushima, to Occupy 
 Newfoundland, to Occupy Wall Street in NYC, and to Greek anti-austerity
