 Bound\n\nMarin Bee Company teams up with Whole Foods and Homeward Bound to 
 present a free workshop on "The Basics of Backyard Beekeeping"\n\nWe'll 
 meet in the produce department from 10:00 am to 11:00 am for a discussion 
 and lively hands-on presentation complete with equipment and an observation 
 hive available to see and touch.  Then we'll head over to the nearby 
 sustainable garden at the Homeward Bound of Marin at The Next Key Center, 
 1385 N. Hamilton Parkway Novato, CA from 11:30 am to Noon to watch 
 beekeepers "smoke the bees" before opening a live hive to inspect for queen 
 cells, egg laying patterns, disease, and honey production.  Participants 
 are invited to wear their own beekeeping suit, if they would like to close 
 up look at the active hives.\n
