DESCRIPTION:Dipsea Hike for Zero Breast Cancer Saturday, September 22nd, 8am Old Mill 
 Park, Mill Valley\nGet out and get physical for a great cause! This 6 mile 
 noncompetitive, all-ages trail loop is a great way to spend time with 
 friends – enjoy breathtaking Mount Tamalpais views, experience the 
 legendary Dipsea steps, and enjoy food, music and prizes with great people. 
 Runners welcome! The event raises awareness that regular physical activity 
 reduces the risk of breast cancer, while also raising funds for Zero Breast 
 Cancer’s prevention-focused research efforts to learn why Marin and Bay 
 Area women have higher rates of Breast Cancer.\nFor more information and

 in memory of Annie Fox and Jerry Leith and is produced in partnership with 
 Tamalpa Running Club. The Marin Independent Journal and Whole Foods Market 
 Miller Avenue are sponsors of the event.\n The 6-mile trail on Mount 
 Tamalpais begins and ends in Old Mill Park in Mill Valley. Starting with 
 the legendary Dipsea Steps, the trail crosses the Panoramic Highway and 
 follows the Sun Trail to the Tourist Club, connects with the Redwood Trail 
 to the Panoramic Trail to the Mountain Home Inn on Edgewood. Then follows 
 Edgewood to the Tenderfoot Trail to the Cypress Trail and back down the 
 Dipsea Steps to Old Mill Park. There will be 2 aid stations along the way 
 staffed by trained first responders; members of the Tamalpa Running Club 
 will be the trail monitors.    Registration opens at 8:00 am and the 
 event starts at 9:00 am.  At the end of the trail, lunch, free massages and 
 music will meet the participants. Prizes will be awarded to individuals and 
 teams recognizing top fundraisers, and other categories.   Zero Breast 
 Cancer is a Marin County nonprofit organization dedicated to finding the 
 causes of breast cancer through community participation in the research 
 process. It focuses on identifying environmental factors and the role they 
 play in the development of breast cancer at all stages of life and across 
 generations. Zero Breast Cancer is the only community-based organization 
 dedicated to finding out why women in Marin and the Bay Area are at higher 
 risk for breast cancer. In partnership with academic and research 
 institutions ZBC has brought several million in research dollars to fund 
 Bay Area breast cancer researchers. Their goal is the elimination of the
