DESCRIPTION:Tuesday July 10--7:00PM\nDo not miss this enlightening, poetically 
 elevating and uniquely informative panel of poets from the Big River to the 
 Bay as they discuss the role of the poet as cultural worker/activist and 
 share some of their own celebrated and acclaimed work as poet laureates of 
 their home communities: Joining Eugene B. Redmond, Poet Laureate from East 
 St. Louis, will be members of the Eugene B. Redmond Writers Club and 
 poet/editors of the  Drumvoices Revuepoetry journal. Jack Hirschman, the 
 internationally acclaimed driving force behind the Revolutionary Poets 
 Brigade, and devorah major, both Emeriti Poet Laureates of San Francisco, 
 will be joined by "Occupy" poet/activist Sarah Page, all members of the 
 brigade. Linclon Bergman and Dottie Payne will moderate this panel of 
 brilliant and committed poets as they demonstrate the value and excellence 
 of poetry that serves as a response to current social conditions and as a
