DESCRIPTION:Occupy Forum\nOrganizing Neighbors / Fighting Foreclosures\nMonday, June
 25, 6:00 PM\nWomen’s Building, 3543 18th St \n(betw. Valencia & Guerrero,
 # 33 bus)\n\nThe issues remain the same but the way Occupy is going about
its work has changed. Gone for now is the large and constant presence in
public spaces. Occupy has moved into the neighborhoods and is organizing
people where they live and around the issues that are close to home. In the
Bay Area, Occupy Bernal, which has delayed some and stopped other
foreclosures, is a shining example of the benefits and successes of this
tactic. To start our conversation about organizing neighbors, Stardust,
from Occupy Bernal, will share his experiences with fighting foreclosures
and neighborhood organizing.\n\nStardust is a San Francisco writer,
teacher, and musician who has been an activist for 30 years in causes
including housing rights, draft registration resistance, waging peace, LGBT
rights, women’s rights, including the right to an abortion, civil rights,
voting rights, free speech, preventing Internet censorship, and universal
health care. Stardust has an MBA from Golden Gate University and a BS in
Writing and Computer Science from MIT. He is a founder of the nonprofit
Online Policy Group.\n\nOccupy Forum will be a regular Monday night Occupy
SF event, at the same time and place.\n\nRead more about Occupy
