 activist Gary Johnson.\n\nThough told to dress up, Frey feared formal 
 attorney atire would prejudice the jury to regard him as a "high-priced" 
 lawyer, so in solidarity with his penniless client, he wore sweats.\n\nEd 
 says he will be explaining his rationale and apologizing for any
