 Nonviolent uprising in Egypt last year and continues close ties with the 
 struggle for democracy there. Ahmed is co-founder, strategist and foreign 
 affairs representative of the April 6 Youth Movement, and implemented the 
 plan that led to the first day of the Egyptian Revolution on January 25, 
 2011. He is one of the co-founders of the Egyptian Movement for Change, 
 Kifaya (Enough!). He also co-founded and led the first anti-Mubarak youth 
 movement: Youth For Change, and leads The Coalition of the Committees for
