DESCRIPTION:This Saturday, Ecology Action is holding an Earth Day celebration at San 
 Lorenzo Park from 11am  to 5pm, celebrating the Earth and environmental 
 protection.  Unfortunately, top staff at Ecology Action are publicly 
 promoting projects that seriously undermine ecological and human health, 
 such as PG&E's smart meter program. \n\nAt the height of the smart meter 
 controversy last year, when PG&E was preparing to come into the County to 
 install (illegally), Ecology Action staff member Mahlon Aldridge appeared 
 twice on a PG&E flyer declaring that "smart meters are essential to a 
 sustainable energy future."  This is in spite of the fact that there still 
 is no independent study showing environmental benefits from the smart grid, 
 and substantial evidence showing harm.  But that doesn't seem to matter to 
 Ecology Action, which collects millions of dollars from PG&E every year,
