 the biggest Tea Party rally since the 2010 elections is happening at Justin 
 Herman Plaza on Saturday, April 14, from 1pm to 3pm. And yet I can find no 
 coordinated counter-protests announced either here, or by OccupySF or 
 OccupyOakland or WCW or ANSWER or CODEPINK or MoveOn or SEIU or by any 
 other social justice or progressive organizations. Why not? I don't want to 
 be the lone counter-protester, so please join me at Justin Herman Plaza to 
 counter the Tea Party at 1pm, or better yet contact progressive 
 organizations like the ones mentioned above or others of your choice and 
 get them to send out the word. I'm just one person; I can't do it alone. 
 The more people who show up, especially in organized groups, the more we 
 will be able to neutralize the reactionary Tea Party message.\n\nDon't 
 stand by and let the Tea Party re-emerge and take the spotlight away from 
 our issues! Don't let them "occupy" our home turf unopposed. And if you 
 know of any organized group planning to attend, please give links or info 
 in the comments.\n
