DESCRIPTION:Occupy Bernal's Education workgroup hosts its first long range 
 movement-building program:  "Crisis of Credit."\n\nIn this 90 minute 
 evening, the connection between speculation and real estate is explored 
 through the excellent 12 minute YouTubed animated video,  "Crisis of 
 Credit."\n\nOccupy Bernal has concentrated on the emergency of 80 plus 
 neighbors facing foreclosure. We've postponed a number of auctions, and our 
 primary focus will remain with slowing the foreclosures and then securing a 
 city-wide moratorium on foreclosures. \n\nHowever, looking towards systemic 
 change, Occupy Bernal's Education Workgroup is producing a series of 
 workshops on SPECULATION. It was the extension of credit where no credit 
 was due that produced the foreclosure morass. In this first workshop in our 
 systemic change series we employ "Crisis of Credit" to gain a sufficient 
 common understanding of the roots of the real estate collapse that we can 
 look to exploring solutions to the wrong sort of speculation, the sort that 
 careens out of control and produces nothing.\n\nJoin Bernal neighborhood 
 folk who have been in the forefront of combating foreclosure in SF in this 
 FREE screening, teach-in, and break-out discussion format program.\n\nA 
 preliminary explanation of the video's basic terminology will be followed 
 by screening of the 12  minute video. Then discussion of the film in small 
 groups will be followed by a brief focus session.\n\nA HUD certified 
 foreclosure intervention counselor with the Mission Economic Development 
 Association will be on hand to assist those in foreclosure peril desiring
