 systems!\n\nOne of two events to launch the Oakland Freedom Summer 
 Project\n\nFrom July 9-29, 2012, activists, students and community members 
 will\nrenovate the historic Uhuru House black community center in 
 East\nOakland, install a sustainable community garden and participate in 
 the\ninstallation of Uhuru Jiko, a community kitchen, a program to 
 bring\ntrue community commerce, health and food programs to the 
 African\ncommunity.\n\nUhuru Foods and the Uhuru Solidarity Movement call 
 on the food justice\nand community activists, chefs, health workers and 
 freedom-loving\npeople everywhere to contribute to self-determination 
 and\nself-reliance of the African community.\n\nDonate skills, money, time
