DESCRIPTION:March 23 (1:00 - 9:00) and March 24 (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.): Scholars and
activists from Palestine, Israel and the U.S. explore ways to achieve
justice and peace in Israel/Palestine. Discussions and workshops cover

silencing dialog in Christian and Jewish communities, and Palestinian ties
with Silicon Valley through high tech.\n\nSpeakers include Naim Ateek,
founder of Sabeel, an organization dedicated to non-violent resistance to
the occupation. Khalil Barhoum, Stanford professor, Hatem Bazian, Berkeley
professor, many others.\n\n$90 for both days, $55 for one day. Fees
include dinner Friday evening from DishDash, lunch on Saturday, music from
George Lammam, poetry from hip hop artist Remi Kanzani
(http://poeticinjustice.net/), poet Lorene Zouzounis, and, of course,
access to renowned experts. Parking included.\n \n
