DESCRIPTION:Vital Phase of the Campaign to make GMO labeling mandatory in CA.\n\nTo all 
 potential signature gathering volunteers - You can become part of this 
 historic campaign!\n\nBy working to get the California Right to Know 
 Genetically Engineered Food Act on the 2012 CA ballot, you will be helping 
 to finally give consumers what we all deserve: the opportunity to know 
 what’s in our food so we can make informed choices about what we 
 eat.\n\nWe cannot stress enough that the future of our food supply 
 literally depends upon the success of this campaign! New genetically 
 engineered foods are continually being developed by the biotech companies 
 and entered into our food systems - often without consumers even knowing 
 about them. \n\nIt is estimated that we will start gathering signatures in 
 early January, 2012. We will have approx. 3 months to gather  750,000 – 
 850,000 signatures.  We will need an army of volunteers to get the job 
 done!\n\nBut before we can start collecting signatures in January, there is 
 a vital hour-long training workshop that all of our volunteer signature 
 gatherers need to attend.  Even if you have collected signatures before, we 
 have specific, important information to share with you.  And if you have 
 done it before, you can share valuable tips with those who are new to the 
 process. This will be a fun way to meet, connect, and enjoy a Non-GMO Snack 
 & Tea with other volunteers who will be Signature Gathering with us.\n\nWe 
 have scheduled more training workshops for your convenience.  All of the 
 following trainings will be held at the Westside New Leaf 
 Market:\n\nSunday, Dec. 18th at 3:30 pm\nTuesday, Dec. 20th at 12:30
