 readers/performers:\n\nEllen Sussman is the author of the New York Times 
 bestselling novel, French Lessons, published by Ballantine in 2011. Her 
 first novel, On a Night Like This, was a San Francisco Chronicle 
 Best-Seller. She is also the editor of two anthologies, Dirty Words: A 
 Literary Encyclopedia Of Sex and Bad Girls: 26 Writers Misbehave, which was 
 a New York Times Editors Choice and a San Francisco Chronicle 
 Best-Seller.\n\nGail Carriger is the author of the Parasol Protectorate 
 series: Soulless, Changeless, Blameless, Heartless and Timeless. Her next 
 series, the Finishing School Series, will start in fall 2012 with Etiquette 
 & Espionage. Soulless won the ALA's Alex Award.\n\nSean Baby writes for 
 Cracked and EGM Now. He's also the creator of Kick to the Groin Comics. He 
 was a staff writer at MTV's Chico and Guapo. He co-hosted G4's Attack of 
 the Show, mocked drunkenly on Broken Pixels, and appeared on miscellaneous 
 programs for G4, MTV and MTV2, VH1, and once on MSNBC.\n\nMike Jung's debut 
 novel, Geeks, Girls & Secret Identities, is coming out in 2012 from Arthur

 Genius.\n\n\nAbout Writers With Drinks:\n\nWriters With Drinks has won 
 "Best Literary Night" from the SF Bay Guardian readers' poll six years in a 
 row and was named "Best Literary Drinking" by the SF Weekly. The spoken 
 word "variety show" mixes genres to raise money for local worthy causes. 
 The award-winning show includes poetry, stand-up comedy, science fiction, 
 fantasy, romance, mystery, literary fiction, erotica, memoir, zines and 
 blogs in a freewheeling format.\n
