 in contemporary art. \n \nPanel 1-Contemporary Art and Social Contexts in 
 Philosophical Turns\nwill be moderated by Vishaka Desai, President and CEO 
 of Asia Society. Panelists include Britta Erickon, Independent curator and 
 critic, Santhi Kavuri-Bauer, Associate Professor of Art History, San 
 Francisco State Univerisy, Xie Xiaoze, Artist and Professor in Art, 
 Stanford University and Tasneem Zakaria Mehta, Director, Dr Bhau Daji Lad 
 Mumbai City Museum\n\nPanel 2-Rebalancing Notions of Cultural Specificity 
 and Global Spheres of Influence in Contemporary Art\nwill be moderated by 
 Melissa Chiu, Museum Director and Vice President of Global Arts
