DESCRIPTION:San Francisco Taiko Dojo, the internationally recognized Taiko drumming 
 group and school, presents its annual Taiko Festival, featuring Japan’s 
 own Hiroyuki Hayashida, who is a pioneer of katsugi oke daiko, a unique 
 shouldering taiko. The program’s finale will honor Northern Japan’s 
 taiko community, and all of the people of Japan, devastated by Japan’s 
 quake and tsunami. A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to hard-hit 
 taiko groups from the region.\n
