 country, public education—from pre-school to university level—is under 
 attack. Until a little over a hundred years ago, education was considered a 
 privilege reserved for the children of the well-off. The right to education 
 was only won by the struggles of working people. Now that right is under 
 very serious attack. School budgets have been slashed, and hundreds of 
 thousands of teachers and other school workers have been laid-off. Tuition 
 at public colleges is soaring, putting it out of reach for many working 
 class youth.\n\nBut not everyone is suffering—the big banks and many 
 corporations are profiting from the attack on public education. How and why 
 is this happening now? How can we fight back?\nJoin us for informative 
 presentations by activists from Teachers for Public Education and the Party

 este derecho esta bajo un ataque serio. Presupuestos escolares han sido 
 recortados, y cientos de miles de maestros y otros trabajadores escolares 
 han sido despedidos. La matricula para colegios públicos esta explotando, 
 poniéndola fuera del alcance de muchos jóvenes de la clase 
 obrera.\n\nPero no todos están sufriendo—los grandes bancos y muchas 
 corporaciones están haciendo ganancias del ataque a la educación publica. 
 ¿Como y por qué esta ocurriendo esto hoy? ¿Como podemos luchar contra
