 September 9th, 4 p.m.\n\nIn front of the Chilean consulate in SF\n870 
 Market Street Suite 1058\nSan Francisco, 94102\n\nThis is a call-out for an 
 autonomous, anti-authoritarian, anti-capitalist picket/vigil in solidarity 
 with the Chilean uprising.\n\nOn August 25th a 16 year old student, Manuel 
 Gutiérrez Reinoso was killed by police at a protest against the government 
 in Santiago, Chile.  Over 1,200 protesters have been jailed in the last 3 
 months.  What started out as student protests over privatization of 
 education has now broadened to a larger social movement including organized 
 mine workers and anarchists.  \n\nLike most social movements, this one also 
 has its contradictory aspects; there is a young person (member of the 
 Chilean CP) who's become a media celebrity.  Yet there are may examples of 
 horizontal, autonomous forces as well; Chilean anarquistas, although small 
 in numbers, are strongly involved and there have been many clashes in the 
 streets against the police.\n\nFriday, September the 9th, (the last day the 
 consulate is open before Sept 11th, the day of the CIA/Chilean military 
 coup in 1973), we will gather in front of the Chilean consulate, located in 
 downtown SF.  \n\nWe invite all those who are also interested in 
 autonomous, anti-authoritarian, anti-capitalist organizing to bring 
 banners, signs, candles, images, offerings for the altar, Chilean music, 
 friends, family and comrades.\n\nQUE VIVA EL MOVIMIENTO REBELDE EN CHILE!!!
