DESCRIPTION:Come to the meeting of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement to kick off the 
 campaign entitled Building Self-Determination in the Crisis of Imperialism: 
 A Day in Solidarity with African People.\n\nWith last week's brutal murder 
 by the San Francisco police of 19 year old African Kenneth Wade Harding, 
 who was shot and left to die in the middle of the African community and the 
 overall escalating police violence, it is so important that allies of the 
 black community stand up against injustice and break our complicity with 
 the war on the African community. \n\nThis campaign involves a pledge drive 
 and political fundraising for reparations from the white community in 
 support of the African community programs for self-determination of the 
 Uhuru Movement and all power to the African community and will culminate in 
 an event in Oakland on Saturday, September 17th.\n\nThe Uhuru Movement is 
 leading the worldwide movement for self determination in the African 
 Community, creating programs for self sufficiency. As the economic crisis 
 of imperialism deepens the African community bares the brunt of the 
 unemployment, foreclosures and massive imprisonment and police violence. 
 While the bankers and ruling class line their own pockets with tax payer 
 money, the government is ending all services. The people have completely 
 lost confidence in the government to solve any of their problems and the 
 African community is building programs to solve these problems
