 CSC.\n\nAbout the readers/performers:\n\nTed Chiang is the author of the 
 novella "The Lifecycle of Software Objects," which is a Nebula Award 
 nominee. His stories include the Hugo Award-winning "Exhalation," the 
 Hugo-, Nebula- and Locus Award winning "Hell is the Absence of God," and 
 the Sidewise Award-winning "Seventy-Two Letters." His stories were 
 collected in the Locus Award-winning Stories of Your Life and 
 Others.\n\nMelissa Febos is the author of the memoir Whip Smart, about her 
 career as a professional dominatrix. She co-curates and hosts the music and 
 reading series Mixer, on New York's Lower East Side. She's working on a 
 novel about "music, madness, and dioramas." Her writing has appeared in the 
 New York Times, Dissent, The Southeast Review, The Rambler and The Nervous 
 Breakdown.\n\nLee Konstantinou is the author of Pop Apocalypse: A Possible 
 Satire. He also has a book of academic writing coming out, Countercultural 
 Capital: The Politics of Irony and Postwar Fiction. And he is the editor of 
 the forthcoming The Legacy of David Foster Wallace: Critical and Creative 
 Assessments. He has lectured on the work of William Gibson and Thomas 
 Pynchon. \n\n\nAbout Writers With Drinks:\n\nWriters With Drinks has won 
 "Best Literary Night" from the SF Bay Guardian readers' poll six years in a 
 row and was named "Best Literary Drinking" by the SF Weekly. The spoken 
 word "variety show" mixes genres to raise money for local worthy causes. 
 The award-winning show includes poetry, stand-up comedy, science fiction, 
 fantasy, romance, mystery, literary fiction, erotica, memoir, zines and 
 blogs in a freewheeling format.\n
