 our favorite folk singers, an incredible story teller, organizer and 
 writer. He will be joined by Nomi, a fabulous folkstress from the Bay. 
 Don't miss this show.\n\nThis event is a Record/CD release tour for Ryan 
 Harvey's new album "Ordinary Heroes"!!\n\nRyan Harvey, a part of the 
 Riot-Folk Collective, has been writing and performing in social justice 
 activist circles for over 10 years. From intimate basement shows to large 
 rallies, Ryan has been "making folk a threat again" with his songs being a 
 critical analysis of war, oppression and movements of resistance.\n\nRyan 
 is touring the United States and Europe this summer to release "Ordinary 
 Heroes", a collaborative album with violinist/journalist/documentarian 
 Michael Fox. The recording, which is dedicated to the life of Howard Zinn, 
 explores contemporary political issues while emphasizing social movements 
 in American history.\n\nThe aim of the album, Ryan says "is to spread a 
 hope that's grounded in practicality, a hope that's born from an 
 understanding that things improve when people organize to change
