 there is not enough money for education and public services. Peter Mathews, 
 a professor, former member of AFT 2121 and now a CTA union member at 
 Cypress College in Orange County will make a report on the only initiative 
 for the upcoming November ballot to tax the oil companies to fund 
 education. He will be introduced by AFT 2121 past president and SFLC 
 delegate Roger Scott.\n\nThe initiative has been endorsed by the San 
 Francisco Labor Council and more information on it can be located 
 at\nwww.rescueeducationcalifornia.org\nEven Alaska has a 25% depletion oil 
 tax yet California has no such tax and this initiative will raise up to $3 
 billion for public education.\n\nAlso a video will be presented on the 
 attack on public workers and where the money is. This presentation will
