 United Long Term Care Workers.  As the capitalist system fails, the 
 Democrats and Republicans (as the political representatives of the wealthy) 
 are trying to balance the budget on the backs of those who can afford it 
 least.  Yet some of the biggest gains made by the working class in the 
 United States were made in the Great Depression of the 1930s.  By breaking 
 from the Democrats and standing-up and fighting back labor has the 
 potential to turn these attacks around.  Please join these upcoming 
 actions.  -Steven Argue]\n\nAs you may know, Santa Cruz County in-home care 
 is once again on the chopping block for huge cuts! The county has proposed 
 cutting our wages to $10.35 per hour: This is a 10 percent wage reduction 
 on top of the 3.6% cut in hours earlier this year.\n\nThis cut would push 
 many homecare workers out of jobs and threaten the safety of many seniors 
 and disabled people in our county.  We need your help.  Please support 
 homecare workers and the consumers we care for.  Join us:\n \nVigil

 corner in Watsonville. We’ll have signs, cowbells and bedpans so we’re

 or\n2) Call the Board at 831-454-2200 and tell them not to cut homecare 
 wages, or\n3) Write the Board of Supervisors and tell them your story and 
 how difficult it is to live in the 3rd most expensive county in the entire 
 USA, and\n4) Attend a meeting to tell your supervisor, in person, “No
