 Urban Beekeeping series! Come learn all that you need to know to manage 
 your own urban bee hive in San Francisco.  \n\nIn this third class we will 
 explore the elements of a healthy, mature honeybee colony. Topics will 
 include assessing queen health, recognizing a healthy pattern of eggs, 
 larvae and pupae. How to provide enough space for colony growth and adding 
 a super for storage of excess honey will be explained. Integrated pest 
 management practices for dealing with honeybee pests & diseases will be 
 discussed. We will also explore behavior and communication among worker 
 bees for locating and foraging on nectar & pollen sources. If weather 
 permits, we will examine a healthy hive to demonstrate the concepts
