 Medicare, and then expand it to everyone in the country.  This stands in 
 contrast to recent Republican proposals to convert Medicare into a voucher 
 program, which single payer advocates say would subsidize health insurance 
 companies, but not provide adequate coverage to seniors in the future, and 
 would essentially destroy Medicare.  Protesters who support 
 Medicare-for-all will also be at the larger but less expensive Obama 
 fundraiser at San Francisco's Masonic Auditorium, 1111 California Street 
 today, starting at 4 pm. \n\nWhat:  Protesters at President Obama's Pacific
