 Revolution: A Stand-up History of the French Revolution. He has written for 
 The Guardian and currently has a weekly column in the Independent and a 
 lecture series on the BBC.\n\nHis other books include Reasons to be 
 Cheerful and What’s Going On?\n\nOpening music (Duo Pizzicato and jazz 
 musician David Alt) at 7pm.\n\nComedy and politics at 8pm.\n\nMark will be 
 available to sign books after his act.\n\nDJ to follow comedy. Mingle, 
 dance & talk politics. Drinks available for purchase at bar. Food for 
 purchase next door.\n\nSliding Scale: $5 - $25. All Ages.\n\nThis event is 
 a fundraiser for Haymarket Books and the Center for Economic Research and 
 Social Change (CERSC). Proceeds will help get activists to CERSC’s 
 conference in Chicago, Socialism 2011: Revolution in the Air.
