DESCRIPTION:RALLY FOR THE RIGHT TO KNOW!\n\nDEMAND GMO LABELING!!!\n\nThere is more
than a casual association between genetically modified foods & adverse
health effects. There is causation as defined by Hill's Criteria in the
areas of strength of association, consistency, specificity, biological
gradient, and biological plausibility. The strength of association and
consistency between GM foods and disease is confirmed in several animal
 studies. http://www.aaemonline.org/gmopost.html\n\nThe American Academy of
Environmental Medicine (AAEM) recently stated that "Several animal studies
indicate serious health risks associated with genetically modified food,"
including infertility, immune problems, accelerated aging, faulty insulin
regulation, & changes in major organs & the gastrointestinal system. The
AAEM advises consumers to avoid GM foods, but since the USDA & Monsanto
co-own the patent for "terminator" seeds, you can bet no action will be
taken. \n\n80% of what Americans eat is genetically modified.
\n\n"Monsanto should not have to vouch for the safety of biotech food. Our
interest is in selling as much of it as possible. Assuring its safety is
the FDA's job." -Phil Angell, Monsanto's director of corporate
communications, quoted in the New York Times, October 25, 1998\n\nMany have
written about the revolving door leadership policy between federal food
agencies & Monsanto, but few seem to grasp the grave dangers such a
good-ol'-boy network entails. The fact is, Monsanto has not produced a
single “food” product that independent, non-corporate sponsored studies
have found to be safe for prolonged human consumption. YOUR KIDS ARE LAB
RATS\n\nGUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION\n1. We are required to stay in motion.
All sidewalks, walkways, and roadways must remain unobstructed to allow for
the reasonable use of these areas by pedestrians, vehicles and other
visitors. We also can not leave anything sitting on the ground.\n\n2.
Please do not lean, sit or look bored.\n\n3. Interact with the public and
hand out flyers. Don't yell or argue with those who disagree with you. We
don't want potential allies or the media viewing or filming anything but...
\n\nMission: Spread awareness of genetically modified foods and Monsanto's
increasing monopoly of our foods.\n\nPublic Transit is
 recommended\n	\nhttp://www.facebook.com/rallyfortheright...\n\nLOCATION:
