 then, we will gather together to honor ourselves and those that have come 
 before us, our great beat teachers and lives, hearts and spirits.    
 surrounded with the magical, surreal and absolutely incomparable backdrop 
 of san francisco's own, very unique Beat Museum, the beat experience will 
 be transmitted and magnified for this special evening. \n\nthe featured 
 guests and poets have deep roots into the beat world, experience and 
 existence of the original beat generation of the 1950's &  60's.   they 
 will tell us their stories and share slices of the classics, remind us 
 where it all began, while keeping the light burning bright in the now.  
 \njoin us for this enchanted evening of what is was like, this most 
 historic, influential and culturally important milestone of the century.

 re-defined  20th century poetry, literature, art and culture.   the bold
