 Oakland!\nWhen many artists think "life drawing," they think of sterile 
 rooms, bad lighting, and bored, silent, models with nary a hint of 
 personality. Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School is here to change all that. 
 \n\nDr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School is the little New York art event that 
 became a movement. Started in 2005 by artist Molly Crabapple, the concept 
 is simple. Artist's draw glamorous burlesque dancers, compete in contests, 
 and win wacky prizes. From it's humble Brooklyn beginnings, Dr. Sketchy's 
 now has nearly 70 branches around the globe, including Hollywood, London, 
 Rome, Tokyo, and Melbourne. \n\nNow, Red Hots Burlesque are bringing Dr. 
 Sketchy's to Oakland. The monthly sessions will feature burlesque babes, 
 roller derby girls , drag queens and fetish models, along with contests, 
 prizes and drinks galore.\n \nAbout our first models THE 
 CAN-CANNIBALS:\n\nOne day Miss Vaudie Va-Boom had a vision…\nIt was a 
 vision of beautiful scantily clad women enticing audiences with their long 
 legs and swirling skirts to be their next meal!\nHer sick and twisted mind 
 took her places where only the most genious of psychophaths would dare to 
 go…\nAnd the Can-Cannibals were born!\n\nThe Can-Cannibals Dance Troupe 
 was started in January of 2008 with only 4 dancers. We honed our skills in 
 a dark and dirty warehouse in Downtown Oakland, feeding off the flesh of 
 unexpecting victims, until we were ready for our debut performance in 2008 
 at Va-Boom’s Valentine Punk Rock Cabaret.\nNow 3 whole years later 
 we’ve grown in size, put a huge variety of shows under our (garter)belts, 
 and have made a name for ourselves in many of the Oakland and San Francisco 
 underground scenes, and beyond!\nThe Can-Cannibals now consist of 6 lovely 
 man eating vixens that will wear your guts for garters (and look damned 
 good doing it). These six lovely, ill mannered females have a hunger for 
 flesh, a thirst for blood, and a passion to dance!\n\nBut, don’t get too 
 close… WE BITE!\n\nSince it's inception in '05, Dr. Sketchy's has 
 received coverage from the likes of The LA Times, The Washington Post, BBC 
 Radio, NPR, The Village Voice, WNBC, Time Out London, Time Out New York,
