DESCRIPTION:One People! One Party! One Destiny! reveals the causes behind the crisis in
the world today and shows the way forward for African people and our
allies.\n\nOmali Yeshitela\nLeader and Founder of the Uhuru (Freedom)
Movement\nwill speak on the escalating police terror and occupation of the
African community of St. Petersburg, Florida and elsewhere and the growing
organized resistance of African people to these conditions. He will be in
Oakland and\nSan Francisco at the following events as part of the One
People! One Party! One Destiny! International Book Tour.\n\nLike in the
1960s when the Black Movement was under attack, various entities aligned
with that state have been spreading disinformation and threats of
violence.\n\nFollowing the escalation of police occupation and resistance
in the African community, "Bubba the Love Sponge," a nationally syndicated
radio host, slandered the Uhuru Movement on air and called for Omali
Yeshitela's death. An online police message board threatened a "driveby"
during a community meeting at the St. Petersburg Uhuru House and a private
investigator from Sarasota, FL has posted government-sponsored surveillance
of the Uhuru House on his website.\nWe call on the San Francisco Bay Area
progressive community to join the defense of Chairman Omali and the Uhuru
Movement.\nAttend these events and defend the right of the African
community to resist police terror. \n\n
