DESCRIPTION:Bay Area Parent Leadership Action Network (PLAN) would like to invite you 
 to PLAN's Town Hall event.  PLAN is currently working on its Leadership, 
 Engagement, Action & Democracy in Oakland Schools campaign, which is 
 pushing for transparency and accountability in the Oakland Unified School 
 District.  We will be presenting the results of our Parent Engagement 
 Survey and discuss what parent engagement should look like in OUSD.  It 
 will be a place for us to share ideas of how to create change within our 
 schools and community, to demonstrate what parent engagement will be about, 
 and to develop policy priorities for OUSD's strategic planning 
 process.\n\nThis event will bring together parents, students, teachers, 
 administrators and District leaders and we hope you make plans to join us.
